Treatments

HAEMTEAM is a specialist Clinical Haematology practice, staffed by a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals in the field of haematology.

This branch of medicine focuses on the study of blood, blood-forming organs, and blood diseases.

The term “heme” is derived from the Greek word for blood. Haematology is practiced by specialists who are dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and comprehensive management of individuals with blood disorders.

Our team is committed to providing exceptional care and support to all our patients, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment and management for their conditions.

For patients requiring intravenous treatments such as chemotherapy, intravenous iron therapy, intravenous immunoglobulins, and intravenous immunotherapy, but who do not need hospital admission, we offer an infusional treatment facility at our Olivedale practice.

Our treatment room is staffed by highly proficient nursing professionals trained in administering chemotherapy. They not only administer your treatment but also discuss treatment-related issues, medication side effects, and guide you through your treatment journey.

We strive to ensure that our treatment room is a comfortable and nurturing space, providing the best possible care and support throughout your treatment.

For Emergencies (known patients) Call (011) 321-0111 or visit your nearest emergency department.
